What began as a frontier science company is taking clearer form as an execution-ready ingredient platform — with a stronger team, a U.S. base, a defined scale-up path, and early commercial signals validating the opportunity ahead.
🏗️ Built to scale
Kresko strengthened its leadership structure for the next phase of growth, with Carla Borini Etichetti as CEO, Silvana Spinelli as CSO, and Uciel Chorostecki as CTO, and welcomed Martín Salinas, PhD, as CPO to lead industrialization and scale-up. We also completed our U.S. relocation, establishing a base closer to customers, partners, and investors, while securing equity-free support through Tulsa Local Ventures and the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
🧬 Sharpening the science
We finalized a peer-reviewed paper showing that industrial processing significantly reduces bioactive RNAs — reinforcing the problem Kresko MatrixShield is designed to solve — and generated new mechanistic data linking small RNAs to intestinal barrier function.
We also launched a new plant-based ingredient development program targeting the gut–metabolism axis and strengthened our computational platform with a molecular knowledge graph to accelerate Serkanto-AI’s discovery pipeline.
🌍 Growing visibility, growing urgency
Kresko presented at Plug and Play demo day in Silicon Valley, ViennaUP, and Business Factory Food demo day in Santiago de Compostela, while continuing to expand its global visibility.
During this period, Kresko was awarded 3rd place at the Longevity Startup Award 2026, invited to RISE (AI x Longevity) in Austria to represent our work translating bioactive RNA discovery into next-generation functional ingredients for healthspan, joined NVIDIA Inception to strengthen the compute backbone behind Serkanto-AI, and entered the SPACE-F program in Thailand to help accelerate our first pilots in the Asian market.
💰 Closing the round
Kresko’s current round is now 80% committed, including participation from a major CVC in natural ingredients. We are currently in active conversations around the final tickets as we work toward closing the round by the end of the month.
The focus is clear: complete the raise, launch pilot execution, deepen strategic partnerships, and continue turning bioactive RNAs into a commercially relevant ingredient category.
